Life’s little lesson # 17,879.25

Today was real cool..
I was driving out to a client’s home to have her sign me off (technical term I just invented) of a contract. (we were not communicating well)
When I was called by a perspective buyer for this same customer, of course I said I would call her right back.
I arrived at my client’s home, with the release form in one hand, and a phone number in my other hand. I asked her if she was interested in showing her home, YES! She was so I called the buyers representative back and set up a meeting for 3:30 PM.
I no sooner walk in my door at home, when the phone is ringing…….
“I called my daughter, she doesn’t want me to do business with that lady” came across my phone…
INFURIATED that I ever mentioned the call, I told my client that I needed her to sign the release, and would be right over, “I am at the doctor’s office” she stated (Hell, she lives 5 minutes from my house, and she had never left her home) I called the buyers rep and canceled the opportunity, and went over and had the release signed.
ONE cool thing, while I was there, the answering machine clicked on and I witnessed one of MY PEERS calling her, and was coming over to sign.
Now I don’t know about how you feel when someone steals one of your clients, but I say the thieving Bitch that was coming over to sign the client I was leaving, deserves her. I hope they have many miserable moments together. The end.

The moral of this story is
When something isn’t working, MONEY will not fix it.
